Geraldine Yvonne Newell

Geraldine "Gerry" Newell, age 85, of Sherrills Ford, NC, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at Abernethy Laurels in Newton, NC. She was the wife of the late John H. Newell and the daughter of the late Sam and Myrtice Short. 

She is survived by two children; Wayne (Trixie) Fallis and Yvonne Wolfram, two great grandsons; Jaden Gaskin and Mason Gaskin and one sister; Sandra (Whitey) Hall.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at the Wike Cemetery in Tuckasegee, NC. Rev. Dennis Burrell will officiate.
