Florence Arrwood

Florence Bryson Arrwood, 78, of Sylva, passed away Sunday morning February 3, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Estella Browning Bryson and was preceded in death by her husband L.C. Arrwood and four brothers Bill, Charles, John and Carl Bryson. She was a member of the East Sylva Baptist Church and worked with Med West Harris Volunteer services. She loved her flower gardens and her fruit trees and baking cakes. Survivors include two daughters Vonna Clark and Vickie Nestler Davis and husband Roy of Sylva and one son Lyle Arrwood of Jacksonville, Fl. 5 grandchildren- Rebecca Nestler, David Nestler, Ashley Arrwood, Cregg Davis Arrwood and Aleksander Clark, 2 great grandchildren- Annabelle Beltrami and Kieran Mann Clark. Three Brothers Melvin Bryson of Sylva Cecil Bryson of Trinity, NC and Ed Bryson of High Point, NC and one sister Frances West of Sylva. Funeral service will be held February 6, 2013 Wednesday at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Rev. Mike Farmer officiating. Burial will be in Parris Cemetery.
