Carolyn Hoyle

Carolyn Gates Hoyle, age 74, of Sylva, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 5, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Fred and Edna Gates. 

She was a long-time member of Long Branch Baptist Church. Carolyn dearly loved her family and cherished her grandson Brian. 

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two brothers; Harold Gates and Millard Gates and three sisters; Frankie Roberts, Margaret Deitz, and Betty Jones. 

Carolyn is survived by one son, Jeff (Aimee) Hoyle, one grandson; Brian Hoyle, and long-time boyfriend; David Green. She is also survived by two brothers; Bill Gates and Gary Gates, two sisters; Hilda Sellers and Phyllis Stiwinter, and several nieces and nephews. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on a later date and will published at that time.
