Elizabeth Marie Davis

Elizabeth Marie Stevenson Davis, age 90, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022. Marie was born on September 17, 1932, in Swain County to the late Etta Stevenson. She enjoyed playing with her dog, Zoe and spending time with her family. Marie loved to cook especially anything with chocolate in it. She was known for her saying “Sugarrrrr”. Marie will be missed by many.

Marie is survived by her sister, Mildred Bryson and sister-in-law, Joyce (Ronnie) Davis. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her mother, Marie is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Davis and sister, Joyce Burnette.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later time.
