Edwin L. McFalls, 54, of Tuckasegee passed away Thursday evening February 20, 2014. A native and lifelong resident of Jackson County, he was the son of George Edwin and Darlene Ledford McFalls. He was preceded in death by a brother, George E. McFalls. Edwin worked for CWS Systems in Cashiers. He loved fishing and hunting and loved his family and his church, Wolf Creek Baptist Church in Tuckasegee. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Vicky Prince McFalls; two daughters- Amanda McFalls and husband Brandon Garren and daughter Callie of Rosman, and Allison McFalls and husband Dennis Luker and sons, Elijah and Garrett of Tuckasegee; a sister, Rose Marie and husband Keith Dills of Cullowhee; a brother, Larry E. McFalls and wife Elaine of Sylva; and a sister-in-law, Marcy McFalls of Sylva. Several beloved nieces and nephews also survive. A funeral service is planned for Sunday, February 23 at 3:00 PM at Wolf Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Don Riddle and Rev. Claude Nicholson officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 22 from 6:00 until 8 pm at Appalachian Funeral Services in Sylva. Burial will be in the Woods Cemetery in Tuckasegee . .
