Edna Mae Henry, 92, of Sylva, went home to be with her Lord, Thursday morning November 1, 2012. Born and raised in Swain County off Goldmine Branch, she was the daughter of the late Fred C. and Gracie Stillwell Fuller. She had previously worked at CJ Harris Hospital in the dietary department and then at Ensley’s Rest Home as a caretaker. She was a member of Ochre Hill Baptist Church and enjoyed working with her flowers, quilting and crocheting. She was a loving support to her children, grandchildren and brothers and sisters. She will truly be missed. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Spergion Alexander Henry. 5 brothers; Johnny, Seweall, Bruce, Lail and Jim Fuller and by 2 sisters;Lessie Hyatt and Ester Stephens. She is survived by her son- Spergion Lee Henry and his wife Pamela of Asheville 2 Daughters- Doris Ann Norman of Sylva Sharon Carden and her husband Rev. Paul Carden of Sylva. 2 Sisters- Clara Reed and her husband Max of Candler Ruth Stanley of Asheville 7 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren and 7 Great Great Grandchildren also survive Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday November 3, 2012 in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Rev. Earl Holden officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2:00 PM prior to the service at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens. . .
