Doris Jean Frady

Doris Jean Frady, age 69, of Sylva passed away Thursday, February 27, 2014 at her home in Sylva. She is the daughter of the late Jewel T. Elders and Bernadee Brower Elders of Washington. In addition to her mother, Doris is survived by her husband of 49 years, James Paul Frady of Sylva. Doris is also survived by one son, Tim Frady and wife Tammy of Sylva and one daughter, Kim Klein and husband Scott of Franklin. Also surviving are two sisters; Patsy Elders and Glenda Ronney-Schwarz and three brothers; Galen Elders, Dennis Elders, and Bill Elders all of Washington as well as two grandchildren; Shelby Klein and Timothy Frady and one great grandson, Braxton Davis. Doris was employed for 25 years as a sewing machine operator and was gifted in all sorts of crafts. A funeral service is planned for Sunday, March 2, 2014 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Rev. Max Cochran officiating. Burial will be at East Fork Cemetery. . .
