Donna Lee Smith

Donna Lee Houston Smith, 46 of Sylva, passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2023. She was born on February 4, 1977, in Jackson County to Donna Corbin Houston and the late Roy Edward Houston. Donna enjoyed reading, traveling, and most of all spending time with her family. She loved the Lord. Donna was a member of Cashiers Church Of God.

In addition to her mother, Donna is survived by her husband, Ron Smith; sons, Justin Ball (Anna Beth) and Tyler Ball; grandchildren, Owen Lee Ball and Ross Houston Ball; brothers, Chuck Norris (Donna) and David Norris. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her father, Donna is preceded in death by her brother, Timothy Norris.

A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, October 15, 2023, at Cashiers Church Of God. Rev. Robert Harrison will be officiating. Burial follow at Norton Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2:00-3:00pm prior to the service at the church.
