Dennis James Owen

Dennis James Owen, 63 of Blairs, VA, died Tuesday, August 3, 2021. He was born September 30, 1957, in Danville VA.,  to the late Elizabeth Easley Owen and Aron Owen.

Dennis served his country as a U.S. Marine.  He was outgoing, friendly, and enjoyed spending time talking your leg off. He also enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by wife, Darla Cloud-Owen; sons Kyle (wife Brittany) and Judah, and bonus sons Brooks Cloud (wife Blaine), Leland Cloud, Lakota Cloud (wife Priscila); bonus daughters Jontel Bozeman (husband Ryan), Dilyn Dulgher (husband Daniel), Chantae Cloud, Shariah Cloud, and Maciah Cloud; one brother, Melvin (wife Pat); one sister, Carolyn Lewis (husband Ryland); four grandchildren, Jameson Owen, and bonus grandchildren Lyrick Johnson, Addalyn Bozeman, and Rhyelle Bozeman; three nephews, Douglas (wife Angie), Thomas (wife Lauren), Scott (wife Karen); and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

A Memorial Service for Dennis will be held at 4:00pm Thursday, August 19th, at Sheva Church of Christ, 4920 Chalk Level Rd, Chatham, VA 24531
