Deborah Irene Phelps

Debbie I. Phelps, 63, of Sylva, was called home to be with her Lord, Monday June 8, 2015. A native of Michigan, she had made Jackson County her home for the last 25 years. She was the daughter of the late Paul Joseph and Imogene Cowger McBride. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, collecting movies but loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by 4 Daughters- Sherry Camacho of Waynesville, Tammy Smith of Sylva, Donielle Phelps of Sylva and Marcella Phelps of Sylva 1 Son- Joseph McBride of Franklin 15 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandsons 1 Sister- Paulette McBride Funeral Services will be held 7:00 PM Friday June 12 in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with Christopher Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 pm prior to the Service at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Appalachian Funeral Services to help defray the cost of the Services. . .
