“Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children in one’s youth.” (Psalm 127:4) Coy Cauley was delivered in Asheville, North Carolina at 7 pounds, 6 ounces and 22 inches long on April 21, 2020. Coy passed prior to delivery to be held by the hands of his Maker. Time was short in knowing Coy; nonetheless, his impact has been felt immensely among family and friends. Even though there is pain from the lack of time spent with our baby boy, unbound joy is present because we know that for Coy, eternity has begun with Jesus. We do not weep as those without hope, but rather an assured hope that one day there will be a reunion. God is good all the time, and all the time God is good.
Coy is survived by his parents of almost 9 months, Jeremy Daniel Cauley and Lindsi Ruth Cauley of Sylva; four grandparents: Marty and Dianne Cauley, Vaughn Freeman and Deborah Willadson, and Great-Grandmother, Gladys Cauley.
A special thank you to family and friends for the prayers, love, and support during this time. The family is truly humbled and speechless by the level of support from the community.
