Clifford Ernest Lenke

Clifford Ernest Lenke, age 80 of Bryson City NC, passed away at home surrounded by loved ones on Sunday November 13, 2022.  He was born on January 27, 1942, in Copley, Ohio.  He was the only son to the late Ernest and Audrey Lenke and a graduate of Copley High School. He married Jack Stinson June 5, 2015, in Treasure Island, Florida.

He was a car enthusiast, owning many classic and antique cars.  Cliff and Jack shared a love for boats and the ocean and enjoyed living on several different yachts when they lived in Florida.  He loved nature ane most of all being with family.

Cliff will be dearly missed by his loving husband, Jack Stinson-Lenke and his faithful dog, Ducky; sibling, Noreen Lenke Marton; nephews and nieces, Kristin Short (Greg), Scott Marton (Jane), Jeffrey Marton (Jacqui), great-nephews and nieces, Monika Fleming (Paul), Thomas Marton (Brittany), Eileen Nutting (Jon), Jacob Short (Brittney), Savannah Marton, Jace Marton, great-great nephews and niece, Eli Fleming, Owen Nutting, Tucker Marton, Delilah Fleming,; cousin, Cheryl Tarou (Rob); as well as his many mountain neighbors and friends.

He was preceded in death, by his parents, and brother-in-law, Stanley Marton.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date where family and friends can come together and share fond memories and stories of Cliff.
