Claude Edison Fox

Claude Edison Fox, 88 of Sylva, NC passed away Monday, October 5, 2015. He was born May 25, 1927 to the late Grover and Hattie Wood Fox. He had a great passion for ginseng digging, fishing, hunting and gardening. He proudly served in the Armed forces during World War II. He was preceded in death by 6 brothers and one grandson, Mickey Mace. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Della Mae Bumgarner Fox. He is also survived by one son, Kenneth Ray Fox of Nashville, NC; daughters Claudine (Larry) Mace of Sylva, and Wanda (Joe) Clayton of Sylva; 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren, as well as brother Terry Fox and sister Mary Ann Thomas.
