Cindy Crisp

Cindy Crisp, 57, a lifetime resident of Balsam, gained her heavenly wings on Monday, April 7, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Cindy is survived by her mother, Helen (Bradley) Crisp; sister, Anita (Crisp) Salstrom; brother, Michael (Mike) Crisp and brother's wife Linda. Cindy was preceded in death by her father, Vincent Crisp.

Cindy was a very special soul. She had the sweetest smile to greet you with and the most precious little wave to tell you bye. She loved to go fishing, read books, listen to music, watch movies and work puzzles; but her favorite activity was taking care of her baby doll.

Cindy brought her family together in very unique ways. She taught us the importance of patience, acceptance, and unconditional love. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in our hearts forever.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 11th, at 1:00pm at Appalachian Funeral Home in Sylva, NC. the family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00pm prior to the service at the funeral home; followed by graveside service at Balsam Baptist Church cemetery with the Rev. Greg Cullen officiating.
