Christian Patrick Dreyer, 25, of Suwannee, Ga., formerly of Knoxville, Tenn., passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 14, 2018. He was born Oct. 29, 1992, in Augusta, Ga. to Andrea Ridley and Patrick Dreyer. Christian graduated in 2011 from Farragut High School in Knoxville, Tenn. While there he excelled and received numerous academic awards and was a member of the lacrosse and football teams. Upon graduation he attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. He enjoyed Frisbee golf, hiking, fishing and camping. He also loved playing the guitar, listening to country music, and wearing his cowboy boots. Christian particularly loved and enjoyed his family and friends and frequently shared his glowing smile and bright sense of humor. He was a quick learner and had an innate curiosity about the world. He had a deep Christian-based faith. Christian was interested in the field of telecommunications. He worked as an installation technician contractor for Mobile Network Solutions in Lexington, Ky. Most recently, he was employed by Future Technologies, LLC as a certified support technician in Suwannee, Ga. He leaves behind his younger sister, Lauren Dreyer; their mother, Andrea Ridley, her fiancée, Brad Hale and his daughter, Fenix of Norman, Okla. Maternal grandparents are Claude and Sharon Ridley of Sylva, N.C. Aunts and uncles include Adrian and Anna Ridley, Valerie Finamore, Karrie Ridley and Marc Finamore. Cousins include Alexander, Mackenzie, and Hudson Ridley, and Victoria Finamore. Also surviving are his father, Patrick Dreyer and wife Tina Dreyer and her children Brent and Brittany Hamby of Knoxville, Tenn. Paternal grandparents are Jim and Carolyn Dreyer of Cold Spring, Ky. His aunt is Sandy Robinson, and his uncle is Jared Dreyer. Cousins include Aiden and Evan Robinson-McCoy, Avery Robinson, and Allison Blackburn. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Rita Dreyer of Latonia, Ky. Private services will be held. Appalachian Funeral Services of Sylva, N.C., is serving the family . .
