Charley Bryant Stanley, Jr.

Charley Bryant Stanley Jr., age 74 of Cashiers NC, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2022.   He was born on June 30, 1947, in Jackson County, to Constance Elizabeth (Hodgkinson) Stanley. 

Bryant had a 30-year military career in the U.S. Army and National Guard, serving two tours in Vietnam and one in Korea.  He was a workaholic who enjoyed the good company of family and friends.  He was a member of Cashiers Church of God.

He will be dearly missed by his mother; loving wife, Marcia (Kinsey); brother, George (Sandra) Stanley; sister, Althea (James) Moody; and sister-in-law, Mellie Stanley.
 
He was preceded in death by his son, Joshua Lee Stanley; daughter, Candice Joy Stanley; and brother, John Stanley. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Bryant's name to:  Cashiers Church of God, 405 NC-107, Cashiers, NC 28717.

A private graveside inurnment will take place at Rock Bridge Cemetery, Tuckasegee NC.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Appalachian Funeral Services, Sylva NC.
