Cecil Coy Franklin

Cecil Coy Franklin, age 87, of Sylva died Friday, October 9, 2015 at Morningstar Assisted Living Center of Sylva, NC. Cecil was born November 11, 1927. He is the son of the late Coy and Lenora Carden Franklin. He was married for 62 years to the late Bleakadee Parris Franklin. He is survived by one daughter DeeAnn (James) Brooks; two sons Greg (Kimberly) Franklin, and Richard (Maria) Franklin. He is also survived by five grandkids and three great grandchildren. Two sisters and one brother also survive. Per his request, a graveside service will be held at a later date. Appalachian Funeral Services are entrusted with all arrangements.
