Carlula Bryson

Carlula B. Bryson, age 96, of Cullowhee died Sunday, February 5, 2012 at Mountain Trace Nursing Center of Sylva, NC. Mrs. Bryson was born November 15, 1915 in Cullowhee, NC. She is the daughter of the late Robert O. and the late Lela (Cabe) Brown and was preceded in death by her husband Beauel Bryson; three brothers; one sister, and a granddaughter, Mitzi Ann Adams. She is survived by a son, Steve Bryson of Cullowhee and a daughter, Bobbie Adams of Eureka, Ca, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She retired from Western Carolina University, having worked at A.K. Hines University Center for sixteen years. She was very active in the Cullowhee Baptist Church. Visitation will be Wednesday night, February 8, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Appalachian Funeral Services in Sylva. Graveside services will be held Thursday at 2:00 pm in Fairview Memorial Gardens in Sylva. Reverend Jeffery Vickery and Reverend Jack Hinson will officiate. . . .
