Bobby Harold Burns

Bobby Harold Burns, Sr, age 80, of Sylva passed away Monday, December 25, 2017 at his residence. He is the son of the late Noah and Fannie (Burns) Seay. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years Marie Burns. He is survived by one son Bobby Harold Burns Jr and his wife Wanda, one grandchild Trevor Burns and his wife Jennifer and two great grandchildren Mason and Alyson Burns. Bobby started his career installing ceramic tile for Roy Smith in Bryson City, he later became self-employed up until his retirement. He was an avid fisherman and the Tuckaseegee River was like his second home. Bobby enjoyed spending his free time going to his great grandchildren's sporting events. A visitation will be held Thursday December 28, 2017 at Appalachian Funeral Services from 5:30-7:00pm. Appalachian Funeral Services is handling arrangements for the family.
