Betty Jill Whitt

Betty Jill Whitt, 73, of Whittier, passed away at 10:40pm on Tuesday, August 9, 2016, after a brief battle with cancer. She was born to the late Betty Brown in Coral Gables, FL. Jill was an owner at Timberlake Campground in Whittier, where she was loved by many of her visitors, who looked forward to seeing her every year. Jill also had a multitude of hobbies; her main focus was horses, and gained the respect of from some of the most talented trainers in the industry. She is survived by one son: Joseph E. Sloan; one grandson Joseph Seth Sloan; and one granddaughter Kayla Elaine Sloan. Memorial services will be announced at a later date. Appalachian Funeral Services has been entrusted with all arrangements.
