Betty Lou Patterson

Betty Lou Patterson, 81, of Sylva,  passed away Wednesday April 13, 2022.
A native of Gaston County, she was the daughter of the late Bill and Mildred Radford. Betty was a member of Tilley Creek Baptist Church and she enjoyed playing cards and watching game shows. She always loved having her family all together and spending time with them them all. 
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Bill Patterson, 2 brothers; William and Gene Radford and a sister, Maxine Rose.
She is survived by; Daughter- Wanda McCurry of Sylva 
Son- Lloyd Peterson (Debra) of Sylva
4 Grandchildren; Christopher McCurry, Jennifer Webb, Shannon and Damian Peterson.
2 Step Grandchildren; Wendy Berkman and David Mathis
8 Great Grandchildren, 2 step great grandchildren
Sister- Bobbie Stillwell of Gastonia
and numerous nieces and nephews also survive

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Friday April 15, 2022 in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Rev. Clarence Rose officiating.  The family will be receiving friends from 1:00 pm till 2:00 prior to the Service at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Parris Cemetery in Sylva, NC.
