Avery Ashe

Avery Ashe, age 67, of Sylva, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, June 16, 2022. He was the son of the late Pearl Beasley Ashe. 

Avery is survived by his wife Cathey Allison Ashe; son Travis (Clarissa) Ashe; daughter Tabitha Ashe; and grandsons Eli and Max Ashe all of Sylva; sisters Pat (John) Brown of Cullowhee and Betty (Jim) McClure of Sylva; brother Keith (Doris) Ashe of Cullowhee; as well as many nieces and nephews. 

A Memorial Service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, where he was a member, on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at 2:00 pm. Pastor Justin Hall will officiate.
