Angela Clydene Horton

Angela Clydene Hoff Horton, 70, of Waynesville, died at Mission Hospital Monday June 22, 2015 after a period of declining health. She moved to Haywood Lodge and Retirement Center in Waynesville in 2008 from Phoenix, Arizona where she spent most of her adult life. She retired from Pacific Mutual Life where she worked in Customer Service. She was an active square dancer and loved to crochet and quilt. She was an enrolled Chickasaw, and while living in Oklahoma volunteered to prepare meals for elders, and enjoyed attending Fall Festival. Angela is survived by her companion and the love of her life Arthur Pitts, her sister, Rebecca Middleton, brother in law Arlin Middleton, nieces Kelli Jo Claxton and Bonnie Jean Claxton. She was preceded in death by her parents Cecil "Bud" Hoff and Fairy Love Hoff. A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 PM Friday June 26 in the Chapel of Sylva First Baptist Church. . .
