Alma Christine Robinson

Alma Owen Robinson of Sylva died Sunday, May 27, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Vess and Mae Owen of Wolf Creek Lake Community in Canada. She was the prior owner of Troy's Drive-in, Parkway Restaurant, Robbie's Charburger, The Steak House, and Jim's Fast Food. She is survived by her son, Jim Robinson; two grandchildren, Jeremy Robinson and wife, Carla, Jessica R. Melton and husband, Shane; three great grandchildren, Zoe Robinson, Brittany and Garrett Melton; one brother, Gerald (Jeep) Owen and wife Kathleen; and a special niece Jean Dawson and longtime caregiver and friend, Brandy Owenby. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Salola Robinson and several brothers and sisters. There will be a private family service.
