Albert Lenthall Sylvester

Albert L. Sylvester Jr. (Ky),  passed peacefully, Saturday, April 17th at age 85 in Sylva, North Carolina.

Son of Albert L. Sylvester and Elizabeth Edwards Sylvester, he was born in Cohasset, MA and lived much of his life in New Orleans, LA, St. Simons, GA and Sylva, NC. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Beverly Joyce Sylvester (1937-2000).

Survivors include his siblings Susan Kaloustian of San Diego, CA, Amy Katoh of Tokyo, Japan and Duncan Sylvester of Downers Grove, IL; Son Mark Grayson Sylvester of Hillsdale, MS with daughters Christina Serrano and Kyla Clider; Son Carle Todd Sylvester of Sylva, NC, his wife Julie Dowdy Sylvester and sons Cameron Bradford Sylvester and Thomas Edwards Sylvester; and his caretaker and best friend Cristal Fowler, her son Tristan and daughter Riley.

The family is forever grateful to Cristal and the team at Skyland Care Center for the incredible care provided to Ky in his final days.
