Patricia Ann Jones

Patricia A. "Patsy" Jones, 78, of Sylva, passed away Tuesday April 24, 2018. A native and lifelong resident of Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late George and Edna Cooper Lewis. Patsy was the manager of the Clothes Connection in Sylva and she enjoyed bowling, reading, spending time with her family and traveling. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her 2 brothers; Jimmy and George "Scroop" Lewis. She is survived by her husband of 61 years Billy Ray Jones. 3 Sons- Tim (Marcia) Jones of Sylva Mark (Martha) Jones of Sylva Chris (Heather) Jones of Cornelius, NC 2 Grandchildren- Christopher of Chapel Hill and Savannah of Boone, NC Sister-in-Law- Geraldine Lewis Nieces- Cheryl Ann Berger, Donna Williams, Jamie Barnett, Cindy Brown, Angie Lewis, Susan Westbrook, Karen Frady Nephews- Rick, Bruce, Cam, Jeffrey and Cody Jones Several other grand nieces and nephews also survive. The family will be receiving friends Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Friday April 27 at Appalachian Funeral Services.
