Biography
Stephen Terrill Bird, 36, passed away Thursday January 19, 2012 at his residence. A native and lifelong resident of Jackson County, he was the son of the late Joe and Judy Webb Bird. He enjoyed fishing, camping and playing music. His sense of humor was always present and he was a joy to be around. He also enjoyed raising his German Shepherds. Besides his parents he was also preceded in death by his grandma, Madge Webb and a brother, James Cabe.
He is survived by his fiancé and best friend- Teresa Sill; two stepdaughters- Stephanie and Brittany; an uncle- Ronnie Webb and his wife Alice of Sylva; an Aunt- Shirley Guffy and her husband Wade of Sylva. He is also survived by a lot of close friends who will miss him dearly.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM Monday, January 23, 2012 at Victory Baptist Church of which he was a member, with the Rev. Benny Bagwell officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
