Stanley Maynard Stonesifer Jr.,68, of Sylva died Thursday, December 15, 2011 at Med West Harris Hospital. Mr. Stonesifer Jr. was born January 8, 1943 in Baltimore, MD. He is the son of the late Stanley Maynard and Bessie Ann (Vipperman) Stonesifer Sr. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Tommy Stonesifer, a stepson, Jeffrey Byron Ledbetter, a brother, David Stonesifer ,and a sister, Diane Stonesifer Hubbard.
He worked in the construction trade as a carpenter and a painter.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years: Darlene Stonesifer;
2 Sons- Shaun Michael Stonesifer of Sylva
Stanley M. Stonesifer, III ( Hunter ) of Oklahoma
1 Daughter- Kimberly Stonesifer Foxworth of Sylva
2 Stepsons- James Michael Ledbetter of Alabama
Jeremy Scott Ledbetter of Sylva
1 Stepdaughter- Teri Ledbetter of Sylva
1 Brother- Chester Stonesifer of Florida
1 Sister- Linda Faye Stonesifer Weltmer of Florida
16 Grandchildren and one Great- Grandchild also survive.
