Bill was a great man and awesome dispatcher. I have worked with Bill for many years either at 911 or as a volunteer fireman. I have many fond memories of bill one of the fondest happened about 11 yrs ago on a spring day when i decided to do some burning at my hse it was a windy day and i had a firetruck didnt think anything would happen of course Bill and Chet were working. To make a long story short i let the fire get out of control and from that day on Bill called me spankey and always ask if i had my lighter didnt matter if it was in walmart or over the radio. RIP Bill Cook you will be missed!

Bill Cook was ONE OF A KIND.... No one will argue that. He had a nickname for all of us. Belinda was Blondie and I was the other Blonde one or Bubble Butt. He was loved by all especially all of us in our dispatch family. RIP Bill. There is one thing for sure. No one will ever forget you and we will never run out of stories to tell about you!!!
