Darleen Wallace, age 73, of 910 Blanton Branch Road, Sylva died Saturday, July 17, 2010 at home in Sylva. Mrs. Wallace was born December 17, 1936 in Mount Clemens, MI.. She is the daughter of the late Benny and Evelyn (Mefford) Keylor. She retired as the office manager of Western Carolina University Police Dept.. She is survived by her husband, Richard Wallace , two daughters, Cecelia Sutton of Niceville, FL, and Tracy Anne Roller of Sylva, NC, one son, Bill Wallace of Sylva, NC, and ten grand children and three great grand children. Darleen was predeceased by her daughter Janet Farmer and one brother. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 23, from 7:00 until 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
