Ralph (Bud) Irwin Jr., age 79, of Sylva died Sunday, July 11, 2010 at Harris Regional Hospital in Sylva, NC. Mr. Irwin was born July 12, 1930 in Niagara Falls, NY. He is the son of the late Ralph and the late Mae (Gowan) Irwin Sr. He was preceded in death by one son Todd.
He served in the Navy. He was a retired environmental architect. Bud was an avid lover of nature and enjoyed his life fully. He is survived by one son, Daniel of Boone, NC and a step-son Jay of Sylva, and his loving companion and best friend Beverly.
At his request there will be no services. His family will honor his memory privately.
