Biography

Charles ( Chuck) Arthur Guenther, age 75, Dillsboro, died Monday, June 28, 2010 at Harris Regional Hospital in Sylva, NC. Mr. Guenther was born March 25, 1935 in Kenosha, WI. He is the son of the late Arthur Robert and the late Wilma (Kyncl) Guenther He served in the Navy. He was a Mason and a Shriner. He worked in auto repair and auto machines sales.
He is survived by his wife: Maxine (Stanberry) Guenther and three sons: Robert (Bob) Arthur Guenther of Virginia Beach, VA, David (Mike) Lee Guenther of Walhalla, SC, and Richard (Rick) Allen Guenther of Tuckasegee, NC. He is also survived by one sister, Mary Ann Budahl of Cullowhee, NC.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday July 24 in the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church with the Rev. Rosemary Peek officiating. The Family will receive friends following the service.
