Appalachian's Christmas Luminary

Those we Love don’t go away

They walk beside us every day.

Unseen, unheard, but always near.

Still loved, still missed, and forever dear.

Dear Friends:

We would like to invite you and your family to our Commemoration Service to honor the loved ones that we have lost this year. The service will start at 5:30 on Tuesday, December 5th with fellowship and light refreshments. We will have a luminary bag with a candle lit for each loved one. This will be followed by special singing in our chapel with the Shelton Family. We look forward to seeing you as we look back over the past year and reminisce.

This year we would like to share the Christmas spirit with folks at our local rest homes. Please feel free to come by before December 5, and pick a name; some ideas for gifts will be written on the back of the card. Feel free to bring the gifts back to Appalachian Funeral Services or deliver them personally. We will also take tread socks, tissues, candy (sugar free is best), combs, brushes, and other goodies to share.

Please share this news with other friends and family members who may not have heard about our commemoration service.

Wishing you a blessed and peaceful holiday season.
